Rainbow China

On 27th December 2013, Takahan, Emi and I left Changi Airport to embark on our first trip as SCC cos Idol.

The location? China.

As representatives from SCC, we are attending Rainbow China at Tianjing China as guests.

We were warmly welcomed there and the big cosplay family there (with extremely good looking and pretty, professional cosplayers) quickly accepted us and mingled with us. It was a really lively and happy group who really regards Cosplay as a profession.

  The first day was an awesome dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant with questionable dishes. (lol)

That was when we realised that the two most wonderful Germans, Kate and Anna can speak really good mandarin and English. They are really awesome awesome cosplayers!!!

 The second day was the start of the TianJing WCS competition and other various competitions. Emi and I were invited as the guest judge for TianJing WCS. We cosplayed Penguin Drums that day as Emi flashed her prize winning flowing gown as the princess of crystal.

The competition performances were fascinating and very interesting. Not to mention all the fujoshi's favourite, a Shingeki No Kyojin kpop style dancing troop that send everyone nose bleeding.

 The Third day was another round of TianJing WCS with more performances and dances. Shibuya charmed the day with her sexy dancing.

The TianJing WCS Champion was selected, congratulations to them and we quickly flew off to Shanghai the next day saying goodbye to ShaMo and Shibuya.

We had a free day at Shanghai and the awesome OMEGA group brought us, the three singaporeans around  some famous spots in Shanghai city. We had a lot of fun, laughter and street food.

On New Year Eve, we attended the Shanghai New Year Countdown party as guest and judge.

This time we are the judges for Shanghai WCS competition. Emi and I cosplayed DOLLs and performed on stage.

Followed by all the awesome guests and competitors. Leading the countdown together with all the guests and the shanghai anime fans, it was a moment to remember. Despite the cold, our hearts were warm.

Im really grateful for all the people that had crossed our paths and became friends in this trip. Words alone cannot express all the wonderful memories, interactions and bonds that we had and had formed. It is really sad that we had to leave all these wonderful people. But all shall be in our hearts forever.
